The Museum of West Louisiana is gearing up for “An Elegant Affair,” a wine- tasting and open house Dec. 5.
The annual event has become a mainstay of Vernon Parish holiday events and brings Louisiana wines and cuisine for all to enjoy. The event is also one of the museum’s main fundraisers.
“This year is going to be even bigger with wines from four different Louisiana vineyards,” said Mary Cleveland of the museum.
Featured wineries will include Feliciana Cellars, Amato Winery, Ponchartrain Vineyards and Landry Vineyards.
Tickets for the event can be purchased for $12 from any member of the museum board or at the museum during hours of operation.
Tickets can also be purchased the evening of the event.
Throughout the evening, entertainment will be provided by C.J. Michaels and his One-Man Band and Dr. Karen Gordy.
Albert Dunn’s infamous eggnog will also be available along with a variety of nonalcoholic wines and holiday punch.
