Rapides Parish authorities say 57-year-old Donna Greenwell was booked with arson, burglary and other charges in connection with a June 6 fire in Pitkin.

A woman facing trial after being accused of swapping two children for an exotic bird now faces another criminal charge in an unrelated case: arson.
Rapides Parish authorities say 57-year-old Donna Greenwell was booked with arson, burglary and other charges in connection with a June 6 fire in Pitkin. The sheriff's office says the home owner, 48-year-old Angela Colver of Pitkin, also has been with arson in the case. Two Glenmora men have also been arrested.
Greenwell is set for trial Nov. 16 on a charge of sale of minor children. Her lawyer has said she is innocent of charges that she handed over two small children in her care in exchange for a pet cockatoo and $175. The lawyer did not return a call for comment Friday morning.
