Fairview....94 Singer.....45 GRANT — The sixth-ranked Fairview Panthers put up 42 points in the second quarter en route to a 94-45 throttling of the Singer Hornets in a District 5-B showdown on Tuesday. Fairview, which travels to Evans on Friday, is now 22-6 overall and alone in first place in district play at 4-0. Singer is 14-13 on the season, 3-1 in the league. The Panthers owned a 21-7 lead at the end of the first period, but thanks to a 42-15 outburst in the second quarter, Fairview was up at the intermission by over 40 points, 63-22. Faith Training is now 13-1 on the season and will be back in action on Tuesday at home against Southwest of Lake Charles. Kylee Williams led Faith Training with 12 points in the win, while Sara Reese and Feliciana Groves added 10 points apiece. Emily Guidry pitched in four points, while Emily Reese and Jordan Anderson finished with two points each. Avoyelles....54 Hicks.....39 HICKS — The Hicks Lady Pirates dropped a non-district game to the Avoyelles Lady Mustangs on Tuesday, 54-39.
