District Attorney Asa A. Skinner reported Judge John C. Ford, Division B of the 30th Judicial District Court,  imposed sentences in the following felony cases on May 19, 2010:
Jonathan Alexander Graf, 21, of Lake Charles, was sentenced to six years in prison on each of seven individual offenses which included two offenses of oral sexual battery, three offenses of felony carnal knowledge of a juvenile and two other charges of indecent behavior with a juvenile.  The two six-year sentences for indecent behavior with a juvenile were ordered to be served concurrent with the three six-year sentences given for carnal knowledge of a juvenile. The two six- year sentences for oral sexual battery were ordered to be served concurrent with all of the other sentences.
Keith A. Hernandez, 29, of Leesville, was sentenced to serve two and a half years in prison for attempted unlawful possession of Hydrocodone in combination with other non-narcotic ingredients. This offense was classified as a third felony offense by the Department of Corrections.
Jennifer Griffin, 45, of Leesville, was sentenced to serve two and a half years in prison for attempted possession of cocaine.  She was classified as a third felony offender by the Department of Corrections.
Karmeena Shuntequa Garner, 26, of Many, was sentenced to five years prison for forgery and five years prison for bank fraud. Both prison sentences were ordered to run concurrent with each other and were suspended. She was placed on five years supervised probation for both offenses and ordered to pay $200  plus court costs as a fine on each charge. She was also ordered to pay victim restitution of $2,650 during her supervised probation.
Dennis James McCroary,  21m of Leesville, was sentenced to serve two years in prison without benefit of probation, parole or suspension of sentence for committing the offense of pornography involving a juvenile. He was also fined $1,000 plus court costs.
Marquis D. Williams, 25, of New Llano, was sentenced to five years prison for possession of cocaine and one year prison for attempted aggravated flight from an officer. Both prison sentences were ordered to run concurrent with each other and both were suspended. He must pay a fine of $2,000 plus court costs for the cocaine offense and a $500 fine plus court costs on the attempted aggravated flight offense. He was placed on five years supervised probation.
 David Lee Destephano, 56, of Leesville, was sentenced to two years in prison without benefit of probation, parole or suspension of sentence, and fined $2,500 plus court costs, for committing the offense of possessing pornography involving juveniles on his computer.
