Louisiana School for Math, Science, and the Arts (LSMSA) student Krip Upadhyay daughter of Kanchan and Mamta Upadhyay from Leesville, won first place in Spanish I during the 29th Annual Foreign Language Festival hosted at Southeastern Louisiana University a competed Tuesday, April 5th. Upadhyay was among a number of students who helped LSMSA capture the best overall trophy for tier two schools.
