A complaint to the Leesville Police Department about a stolen Polaris four-wheeler has led to the arrest of two Fort Polk men,  according to the Leesville Police Department.
Casey Wilkes, 21, and Joshua Phenix, 21, admitted to taking the four-wheeler from a residence inside the city limits of Leesville. 
The complaint was initially received in late March. Detectives with the Vernon Parish Sheriff’s Office, who had been working in conjunction with the Sabine Parish Sheriff's Office, later contacted Leesville investigators concerning suspects in the case.  
The investigation revealed that the suspects had also allegedly stolen the Polaris four-wheeler from Leesville, which was recovered from Newton, Texas.
Wilkes and Phenix were charged with felony theft of a motor vehicle, simple burglary and criminal conspiracy. Total bond was set at $13,500 for each.
