The Vernon Parish Sheriff's Office is searching for an inmate who escaped from a vehicle Wednesday morning.


The Vernon Parish Sheriff's Office is searching for an inmate who escaped from a vehicle Wednesday morning.
According to the sheriff's office, Christopher Brent Miller, 20, escaped from the vehicle that was transporting him from the Vernon Parish Jail to Leesville City Court at approximately 10:11 a.m. Miller was being transported by the City Marshall's Office.
Miller was being held in the Vernon Parish jail on burglary and theft charges.
He is described as a white male, approximately 6'1" and weighing 170 pounds with blonde hair and hazel eyes. At the time of his escape, he was described as wearing an orange jumpsuit.
