A Leesville woman was arrested Friday after she allegedly stole a vehicle after her own broke down.


A Leesville woman was arrested Friday after she allegedly stole a vehicle after her own broke down.
Kayla Ann Faske, 37, was charged with theft of a motor vehicle and resisting an officer.
According to the Vernon Parish Sheriff's Office, Faske's vehicle broke down while she was driving it in the Rosepine area. The sheriff's office said that she then took a vehicle from under an area resident's carport and proceeded to drive away.
Faske was later discovered driving on La. 10 near Pitkin, where she was subsequently stopped and arrested.
Her bond was not immediately available.

Leesville man arrested for criminal conspiracy, resisting officer

A Leesville man was arrested on Feb. 16 on drug-related charges.
Hugh Reibsome, 42, was charged with criminal conspiracy and resisting an officer.
According to the sheriff's office, the Vernon Parish Narcotics Task Force arrested Reibsome on drug-related charges.
His bond was set at $20,000.
