The Leesville Lions Club will hold its annual telethon on June 15-16 to raise money for the Louisiana Lions Crippled Children's Camp, located in Vernon Parish.


The Leesville Lions Club will hold its annual telethon on June 15-16 to raise money for the Louisiana Lions Crippled Children's Camp, located in Vernon Parish.
The Lions Club is asking for donations from Vernon Parish residents for items to be auctioned off at the upcoming telethon. Drop off locations include American Moving and Storage, Shawson Gas, and the Vernon Parish Police Jury office; At each location, residents can donate an item, make a monetary donation, or purchase a Lifetime Membership, which is used to fund improvements at the camp.
The camp is for Louisiana children with mental and physical handicaps, diabetes and pulmonary disorders. The children attend the camp free of charge.
