    8 a.m. to 5 p.m. — Entries taken at Ag Building, Fairgrounds (including pet show). All other livestock will be entered on Oct. 3.
    9 a.m. — Pine Straw Bale Stacking contest
    1 p.m. — Horse show, held at West Louisiana Forestry Festival Rodeo Arena
    7 p.m. — Queens contest
    Sunday, Sept. 30
    1-5 p.m. — Entries taken at Ag Building, Fairgrounds (including pet show). All other livestock will be entered on Oct. 3.
    1-5 p.m. — Buildings open to set up community, 4-H and homemaker displays.
    No entries taken after 5 p.m. on Sunday
    Monday, Oct. 1
    8 a.m. to 5 p.m. — Buildings open to set up community, 4-H and homemaker displays only. No entries accepted.
    7 p.m. — Junior King and Queens pageant.
    Tuesday, Oct. 2
    8 a.m. — Food entries must be submitted for judging
    9 a.m. — Judge exhibits
    5:30 p.m. — 4-H Woodsman Skills contest
    Wednesday, Oct. 3 — Senior Citizens day
    11 a.m. — Senior Citizens day — Dinner on the grounds
    3 p.m. — Fair opens
    4 p.m. — Carnival opens
    5-8 p.m. — All livestock entries will be taken at the Livestock Barn. All animals must be in barn by 8 p.m. (beef, dairy, sheep, swine, goats, rabbits and poultry).
    10 p.m. — Exhibit buildings close
    Thursday, Oct. 4 — Fort Polk Appreciation Day
    3 p.m. — Fair opens
    4 p.m. — Carnival opens (1/2 price ride tickets with military ID)
    4 p.m. — Rodeo parade, downtown Leesville
    7 p.m. — Country 105/4-H Big Dog Bull Roping contest at West Louisiana Forestry Festival Rodeo Arena
    7:30 p.m. — Lions Club Rodeo (covered arena)
    10 p.m. — Exhibit buildings close
    Friday, Oct. 5 — School Day
    9 a.m. — Fair and carnival opens
    9 a.m. — Pet show
    9 a.m. (all day) — Military vehicle and equipment display
    11 a.m. — Rabbit show (Showmanship class will begin promptly at 11 a.m. Exhibitor must be present to compete)
    2 p.m. — Poultry show
    7:30 p.m. — Lions Club Rodeo (covered arena)
    10 p.m. — Exhibit buildings close
    Saturday, Oct. 6
    10 a.m. — Livestock show (beef, dairy, sheep, goats and swine)
    Noon — Fair and carnival opens
    7 p.m. — Country 105/4-H Big Dog Bull Roping contest (covered arena)
    7:15 p.m. — Parade of Champions
    7:30 p.m. — Lions Club Rodeo (covered arena)
    Page 2 of 2 - 8 p.m. — Release all livestock, poultry and rabbits
    10 p.m. — Exhibit buildings close

    Noon — Fair opens
    1 p.m. — Carnival opens
    6 p.m. — Exhibit buildings close
    6-8 p.m. — Pick up all exhibits
    6 p.m. — All poultry and livestock exhibits must be removed
