Decorations and glittering trees are already on view, and festivities are coming up in Historic Downtown Leesville.
Children can take a photo with Santa Claus on Dec. 1, 8, 15, 22 at Main Street Party Supply, located at 107 S. Third St., on Dec. 1, 8, 15, and 22.
"It's a Wonderful Christmas on Main Street" will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Dec. 1. Visit with artists, artisan crafters, vendors, and enjoy music from a DJ.
The Joseph Sisters Gallery, located at 303 E. Texas St., will screen "A Christmas Story," the Christmas classic with Peter Billingsley, at 7 p.m. Dec. 1.
Admission is a non-perishable food item.
Enjoy a movie, fresh popped corn, and refreshments.
The annual Vernon Parish Chamber of Commerce Christmas Parade will roll at 5:30 p.m. on Dec. 8.
The theme this year is "An Old Fashioned Piney Woods Christmas."
