Anacoco held the event to allow soldiers some time to spend with their families.

About the event The event, held at the First Baptist Church in Anacoco, included a barbecue hot dog roast, a petting zoo, hay rides, music, games, bounce houses and other family events. All of the events were free to soldiers and their families, and numerous students and other members of the community volunteered their time to help put on the event.
