The Kurthwood Homemakers held their March meeting at the home of Betty Goseweher in New Llano. The co-hostesses were Edith Guenther and Paula Simmons.
Others present were Jackie Belton, Annie Ryba, Nell Wright, Mary Ann Carlson, Ada Haymon, Betty Westerchil, Martha Rankin, Marjorie Pollard, Maggie Isgitt, Margie Cushing and Betty Summitt.
The group said a prayer for those who were ill and could not come to their meeting.
Isgitt, president, called the meeting to order, and led the club in the Pledge to the Flag and the Homemaker's Collect.
After business was discussed, the group held show and tell. Belton made a "scrap quilt;" Simmons made a bag to hold her quilt, called "tacking;" Goseweher made napkins to show, and also will be making several other things; Guenther made a matching quilt and pillow cover; and Isgitt showed the suit she was wearing.
After show-and-tell, lunch was served by the hostesses.
The April meeting will be at the Holly Grove Methodist Church.
