The Vernon Parish Tourism Commission has announced that the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Pitkin Market Pavilion will be at 11 a.m. on April 6.

The Vernon Parish Tourism Commission has announced that the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Pitkin Market Pavilion will be at 11 a.m. on April 6.
The pavilion is located behind the Pitkin Water System Inc. and Gas Utility District #1 Office, 12863 La. 10.
The pavilion is a project of the Vernon Parish Tourism Commission as an addition to the Myths and Legends Byway, a scenic trail that includes highways in Vernon, Allen, and Beauregard parishes.  
The pavilion will be available for use by farmers who sell locally grown produce, and for other community activities.
