A love fund has been established for Sarah Meeks of Hicks. Sarah was recently diagnosed with Leukemia and is currently receiving chemotherapy treatments at St. Jude’s Childrens Research Hospital in Memphis Tenn. An account has been opened at City Savings Bank and all donations will be used to defray any out of pocket expenses for the family.
 

The 14th Annual "Oz" King Memorial Golf Tournament will be held at the Leesville Municipal Golf Course at 8 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 21, 2010 to benefit the Ministerial Alliance which includes many churches throughout the area.  It is a 2-person scramble with a shot-gun start .  The cost is $40 per person with all proceeds going to the Ministerial Alliance.
