In an effort to provide some relief to those who have neglected outstanding Beauregard Parish traffic citations, District Attorney Jimmy Lestage has announced a Traffic Amnesty Program which will operate from July 3, 2017 through August 31, 2017. During this period, late fees for unresolved traffic citations will be waived. Cited persons may make arrangements to resolve the original citations.

For those who were cited and had their Driver’s License suspended for failure to resolve the matter, efforts will be made to help clear their case and obtain a new Driver’s License.

For those who were cited, failed to appear for court, and had Bench Warrants issued, efforts will be made to resolve the warrants without arrests.
