LEESVILLE, LA – Ken Hughes, President/CEO of Merchants & Farmers Bank has announced the
promotion of Holly Pollard to Secretary to the Board of Directors and the promotion of Leroy Cooley to
Executive Vice President.

“Cooley and Pollard are long-term employees who have demonstrated the highest levels of professionalism and service for our customers,” said Hughes.

Pollard, a bank employee for 18 years, will continue her duties as Vice President/Loan Compliance Officer where she is responsible for compliance review on all loans; lending training for employees; filing Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA) and Loan Application Register (LAR) documents; updating loan policies and procedures; and pre-funding residential and non-residential real estate. Her new duties will include preparing board reports and working directly with the board of directors.

Cooley is a Loan Administrator at Merchants & Farmers’ main office who has been with the bank for 19 years. His primary duties include sales and business development; loan production/operations; commercial/consumer lending; loan personnel administration; lending department budgeting; and formulating of lending/credit and pricing policies.

According to Hughes, Pollard was named Secretary to the Board of Directors following the recent retirement of Kay Wilbanks after 47 years with Merchants & Farmers.
