A Soldier, stationed at Fort Polk, has been arrested on child pornography charges along with two other offenders.

The three men were arrested by Attorney General Jeff Landry’s office for over 100 counts of child pornography.

Christopher Duverge, 22 of Bronx, New York, was arrested on 80 counts of Sexual Abuse Images and/or Videos of Children (under the age of 13).

He was arrested and booked into the Vernon Parish Jail following a joint investigation between the Louisiana Bureau of Investigation (LBI) Cyber Crime Unit, Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), the Army Criminal Investigation Division, Rapides Parish Sheriff’s office, and the Vernon Parish Sheriff’s Office.

Duverge is an active member of the U.S. Army and was on approved military leave at this time of his arrest. He was stationed at Fort Polk when the alleged crimes occurred. Kyle Ermis and Chaz Maturin were also arrested on child pornography charges.

Ermis, 25 of Ponchatoula, was arrested on 24 counts of Distribution of Sexual Abuse Images and/or Videos of Children, and six counts of possession of Sexual Abuse Images and/or Videos of Children. Ermis was arrested and booked into the Tangipahoa Sheriff’s Office following a joint investigation between the LBI Cyber Crime Unit and the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office.

Maturin, 25 of Abbeville, was arrested on eight counts of Sexual Abuse Images and/or Videos of Children and three counts of Sexual Abuse Images and/or Videos of Children (under the age of 13). He was arrested and booked into the Lafayette Parish Jail as a fugitive from Vermillion Parish following a joint investigation between the LBI Cyber Crime Unit, HSI, the Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Office, and the Vermilion Parish Sheriff’s Office.

Attorney General Jeff Landry said, “My office is dedicated to investigating and arresting criminals who victimize children. We will do all that we can to take child predators off Louisiana’s streets.”
