Precincts open at 7 a.m. Saturday for voting in the primary election and close at 8 p.m. Voters are urged to have proper identification with them when going to the polls. Voting results will be available as they come in at leesvilledailyleader.com

On the ballot in all 73 precincts in Vernon Parish is the state treasurer’s contest, to fill the unexpired term of John Kennedy,  three proposed constitutional amendments, a district judge contest to fill the unexpired term of the retiring Judge Vernon Clark and a Police Jury bond rededication proposal.
