Close to 100 youth athletes attended a basketball camp over Christmas break to work on fundamentals, go through drills, and compete in games.

Led by Hicks High School girls coach Mike Charrier and boys coach Neil Standifer, the camp started on Dec. 27 and lasted three days for the future area basketball players.

There were two daily groups with the morning session for ages 5-9 and the afternoon session for ages 10-14.

Campers received a bootcamp basketball, a Dri-Fit t-shirt and bootcamp dog tags for their participation in the camp.
