Merryville senior guard Andrea Cournoyer closed out prep career in a loss in the Class 1A State Championship, but her performance in the two games at Rapides Coliseum garnered more hardware to add to her collection.
Cournoyer was selected as one of 15 girls to receive 2018 Girls' Marsh Madness All-Tournament Team honors.
Cournoyer scored 40 points in the Lady Panther's semifinal win over Jonesboro-Hodge and 33 points in the championship game.
Kourtney Weber (Ursuline Academy) was named the Most Outstanding Player of the tournament.
Other players on the All-Tournament team include Diamond Hunter (Lee), Kennedi Green (Madison Prep), Jaycee Hughes (Holden), Tristen Washington (East Ascension), Destiny Rice (North Caddo), Bre Porter (Lafayette Christian), Kiana Anderson (Warren Easton), Alexis Horne (McKinley), JaMya Young (Loranger), Le'Shenea Stubblefield (Delhi), Alex Harrison (Plainview), Tyra Vaughn (St. Katharine Drexel) and Linsey Ard (Loranger).
