Pickering 8, Oakdale 5
Pickering held off a late surge from Oakdale to win 8-5 at home.
Trailing 8-1, Oakdale scored four runs in the top of the seventh inning to get into the game, but the Red Devils held them off to claim the win.
Pickering led 7-1 after the top fifth inning and added another run in the bottom inning off a solo home run by Ryen Lawrence to make it 8-1.
Lawrence went 3-for-4 with two RBIs and scored three runs, and Allie Brister went a perfect 3-for-3 with two RBIs.
SheLea Lawrence pitched six innings and struck out seven batters to get the win for Pickering.
Pitkin 18, Hicks 10
Behind an 11-run third inning, Pitkin defeated Hicks 18-10 in a shootout.
Hicks closed the gap to 13-10 in the fifth inning, but Pitkin scored five runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to seal the win.
Ainsleigh Geutreaux went 3-for-5 with five RBIs, and Tai Turnage went 1-for-2 with three RBIs.
Breeanna Davis, Kelsie Woods and Taelor Johnson each went 2-for-4 with two runs scored for Pitkin.
Rosepine 10, DeQuincy 8
Haylee Brinlee and Desiree Squires each went deep to lead Rosepine to a 10-8 win over DeQuincy.
Brinlee hit a two-run home run in the first inning to put the Lady Eagles up 2-0, and Squires put one over the right-field fence to extend Rosepine's lead to 4-1 in the top of the third.
DeQuincy scored five runs in the bottom of the fourth inning to tied it at six, but Rosepine scored four runs in the top of the fifth to take the lead and hung on for the win.
Brinlee went 2-for-4 with two RBIs, and Kelsey Hill went 2-for-5 with two RBIs.
Oakdale 6, Pickering 3
Oakdale took at early four-run lead on Pickering in the first inning, and the Red Devils could never catch up all the way up.
Pickering scored three runs in the bottom of the second inning to make it 4-3, but could not get anymore runs across home plate.
John David Redden led Pickering at the plate, going 2-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored.
