Ronald Allen Jr., 38, of Leesville, was arrested by the Vernon Parish Sheriff’s Office (VPSO) on Monday for allegedly raping a female juvenile over the course of several years.

The victim alleges the illegal sexual contact began when she was nine-years-old.

Allen was charged with one count of first degree rape, one count of oral sexual battery and one count of crimes against nature.

He is currently in the VPSO jail.

Allen’s bond was set at $300,000 by 30th JDC Court Judge Tony Bennett.

Evidence was gathered from Allen’s home after VPSO obtained a search warrant in January.

While searching the home, detectives were able to collect biological evidence which was promptly submitted to the North Louisiana Crime Lab in Shreveport.

The lab provided the results of their extensive testing, which led to VPSO obtaining arrest warrants for Allen.

VPSO is working in conjunction with the Fort Polk Criminal Investigative Division on more allegations reported outside of Vernon Parish.

According to VPSO, additional charges are expected in the case.

Allen was a soldier who last lived on post in 2016 according the Fort Polk Public Affairs Office.

If convicted, Allen could face life in prison or the death penalty.
