The Pregnancy Care Center, a pro-Life nonprofit organization, is hosting a fundraiser that will be headlined by special guest speaker Pam Tebow.
Tebow is the mother of Heisman Trophy winner Tim Tebow. In 2017, she was named the national Pro-Life advocate of the year.
Tebow has appeared with her son in a Super Bowl ad promoting pro-life values in 2010.
She has since become an advocate for pro-life causes since then, appearing on many talk shows and television programs.
She is currently writing a book about her trust in God with Tyndale Publishing.
“We are pleased that this year’s event will allow the community to provide support for the pro-life work being done locally and hear about some important changes at the Pregnancy Care Center. Pam Tebow is an amazing speaker who has lived a life of service and can speak personally about the importance of choosing life in uncertain circumstances,” Donna Perkins, president of the PCC Board of Directors said .
The event will take place at DeRidder First Baptist Church at 5:30 p.m.
There will be musical entertainment, personal testimony given by Pam Tebow, hors d'oeuvres and an unveiling for the Pregnancy Care Center logo.
Tickets are $30 per person and can be purchased at DeRidder First Baptist Church, Grace Church, Curious Cargo and The Rustic Cottage. A group of four tickets can be purchased for $100.
They can be purchased online at ticketsource.us/celebrationforlife.
