Thomas Anthony Keith, of Leesville, was arrested by the Vernon Parish Sheriff’s Department (VPSO) for allegedly exposing himself to two female victims on two different occasions.

Keith allegedly attempted to coerce one of the female victims to get in his vehicle while she was taking her trash to a dumpster near Entrance Road on July 28th.

When the victim refused, Keith allegedly exposed himself.

The victim immediately responded by returning to her vehicle, driving away and calling the police.

Deputies with the VPSO searched the area but Keith had fled the scene.

The victim gave a description of Keith and his vehicle, a green truck.

The second victim alleged that Keith exposed himself to her while she was leaving the parking lot of the Dollar General store on Entrance Road. She immediately left in her vehicle after the incident took place, and Keith followed her in his for a short time before giving up.

The first victim saw Keith again, driving in her neighborhood and obtained the number of his license plate.

Both victims were able to give descriptions of Keith and his vehicle to the VPSO. They were also able to pick him out from a photo lineup.

When the detectives contacted Keith he admitted to both crimes.

He was charged with two counts of obscenity and is being held in the Vernon Parish Jail on a $20000 bond.

The case was conducted by Deputy Mark Ashworth, and Deputy W.L. Bynog, who were commended for their diligent efforts by Sheriff Sam Craft

If convicted, Keith could face serious jail time.

In a release to the media Sheriff Craft expressed that when citizens are victims of, or see acts like this taking place to immediately contact the VPSO.

Craft also advised to report suspicious persons or activity immediately to the VPSO.
