Soileau’s Cajun Specialty Meats has opened a brand new cafe next door, the Cravin’ Cajun Cafe, to offer a quality lunch at a reasonable price to the town of Rosepine and surrounding community.
Opening on Wednesday, August 1, Cravin’ Cajun Cafe has seen at least a week of business in the town of Rosepine, offering a new place to stop and eat for residents and visitors of the town.
“We’re mostly here to make sure the people from around here enjoy a good lunch at a reasonable price,” owner Garrick Soileau said. “I’ve always said I’d incorporate this side with the meat market if I had the chance. So I started working on it in June, opened up August 1 and business has been really successful so far.”
The cafe offers a variety of sandwiches, burgers and the cajun favorite, poboys, for anybody stopping in for lunchtime.
The Cravin Cajun Cafe is located at 18638 Johnny B Hall Memorial Highway, right next door to the Soileau’s Cajun Specialty Meats.
They are open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and can be contacted at (337) 463-9187.
