Pro-Life nonprofit organization the Pregnancy Care Center is hosting a fundraiser that will be headlined by special guest speaker Pam Tebow on Tuesday, September 18. Tebow is the mother of Heisman Trophy winner Tim Tebow. In 2017 she was named the national Pro-Life advocate of the year.
Tebow has appeared with her son in a Super Bowl ad promoting pro-life values in 2010. She has since become an advocate for pro-life causes since then, appearing on many talk shows and television programs. She is currently writing a book about her trust in God with Tyndale Publishing.
“We are pleased that this year’s event will allow the community to provide support for the pro-life work being done locally and hear about some important changes at the Pregnancy Care Center. Pam Tebow is an amazing speaker who has lived a life of service and can speak personally about the importance of choosing life in uncertain circumstances”, said Donna Perkins, president of the PCC Board of Directors.
The event will take place at DeRidder First Baptist Church at 5:30 p.m. There will be musical entertainment, personal testimony given by Pam Tebow, hors d'oeuvres, and an unveiling for the Pregnancy Care Center logo.
Tickets are $30 per person and can be purchased at DeRidder First Baptist Church, Grace Church, Curious Cargo, and The Rustic Cottage.
They can be purchased online at ticketsource.us/celebrationforlife.
