Fort Polk worker killed in accident

A worker at Fort Polk was killed last week after being electrocuted, according to officials.
Jonathan Kyle West, 23, was killed in the incident Wednesday. West worked for the Migues Deloach Company, based out of Pineville and was a civilian contract worker at Fort Polk at the time of the accident.
Fort Polk officials have confirmed the electrocution, saying that there was "an incident involving electricity."
Fort Polk officials are currently investigating the incident and have not released any further information.
