The Vernon Parish School District has announced the winners from Division One (grades four through six) of the Vernon Parish Social Studies Fair.

Anthropology individual: First place, Alexis Cloud, Vernon Middle School; second place (tie) Katie Mikes, of Vernon Middle School and Mary Beth Mitchell, of Vernon Middle School; and third place, Valerie Davis, of Rosepine Elementary School.
Anthropology group: First place, Gwynneth Pack and Marrion Carter, of South Polk Elementary School; second place, Maddie Vance and Emily Baker, of Anacoco Elementary School; and third place, Tyler Baxter and Zachry Brayden, of Evans High School.
