Facebook on Wednesday finally filed for an IPO, seeking to raise $5 billion. The public won't be able to trade Facebook stock for several months though, as regulators and investors have to OK the plan. Facebook has been profitable since 2009.

“It's not unheard of to have organized violence between football clubs, but something on this scale has never been seen before." - James Montague of CNN, talking about riots that broke out in Egypt during two soccer games. At least 70 are dead in the violence, and hundreds are injured.
