An 11-foot python named Nanner, Kunka the deskunked skunk and Jo-Jo the almost 2-year-old alligator enthralled both children and adults during story time at the Vernon Parish Library on Wednesday.
Story times occur every Wednesday throughout the summer from 9:15 to 10 a.m. and again from 10:15 to 11 a.m. for ages 3-12 in the meeting room of the library.
Other highlights this summer include visits from Harvey Rabbit (June 10); a costume day (June 17); storytelling with music (July 15); storytelling with drama puppets (July 22); an origami storyteller (July 29); and a closing party at City Park.
