Voters in Sabine Parish's South Sabine Consolidated School District No. 20 will decide Nov. 2 whether they want to pay property taxes to construct a new school.

The Town Talk reports the proposal calls for selling $2.3 million in bonds to be paid out over 15 years to be used to construct and equip school buildings and to construct streets and sidewalks.

To pay off the loans, residents and businesses in the district that are subject to property taxes would pay 11.35 mills property tax.
