Joseph Daniel Trujillo of Anacoco recently placed second in the Louisiana State University Science Fair in Baton Rouge recently.
Joseph was representing Leesville High School, where he is a Junior. This was Joseph’s third time to make it to state and his second time to place. Joseph is continuing to pursue his theory that chickens fed with traditional feed purchased from the local feed stores are less mature than the chickens he raises on commercial products furnished by local commercial growers.
Joseph feels that his theory ties in with the faster maturing of children in the United States, and the more obese the population has become. Joseph is the son of J.A. (Tony) and Dana Horn-Trujillo, and the grandson of Dan M. Horn and the late Doris Horn of Anacoco.
