Evans High School recently held its social studies fair. Winners from the fair include:

Division I (elementary)

Anthropology individual: first place, Vanessa Jackson; second place, MaKayla Spears and third place, Cole Warren
Anthropology group: first place, Shayley Phillips and Michelle Williams; second place, Elizabeth Harvey and Billi Brooke Payne; and third place, Tyler Baxter and Brayden Zachry
Economics individual: first place, Conner McKaskle
Geography individual: first place (tie), Hunter Nash and Hunter Smith; second place, Dylan Wilson and third place, Grady Mitcham
History individual: first place, Jeb Bass and second place, Trinity Walker
History group: first place (tie), Chris Lozano and Corey Munley, and Jewel Sharbeno and Enola Gollihugh; second place (tie) Gavynn Austin and Seth Robison, and Tajah Bennett and Faith Cryer; and third place, Brandy Grudem and Gabriella Gulledge

The overall individual winner was a tie between Hunter Smith's project, “Tree My Dog” and Hunter Nash's project, “Toledo Bend Lake." The overall group winner was Chris Lozano and Corey Munley's project, “Alcatraz."

The overall project awards went to Kirklin Henry's project, “Coincidences between Lincoln and Kennedy,” and Bailey Westlake and Alexis Jarrell's project, "Elizabeth Taylor." Other award winners include
