The Pitkin Lady Tigers pulled away in the second half, knocking off the Elizabeth Lady Bulldogs in non-district hoops action on Tuesday, 66-45.
With the win, the Lady Tigers improved to 13-11 overall as they prepare for their District 5-B opener on Jan. 5 against Hornbeck on the road.
The Lady Tigers owned a 13-11 lead after one quarter of play and held a 28-22 advantage at the intermission.
Pitkin used an 18-10 run in the third quarter to open up a 46-32 lead going into the final frame of play.
The Lady Tigers put together a 20-13 surge over the final eight minutes to secure the victory.
Karli West continued her torrid scoring pace, notching 17 points in the win, while Megan Ford and Katie White finished with 14 and 11 points, respectively.

Poston led Hornbeck, which plays its District 5-B opener on Jan. 5 at home against Pitkin, with 26 points, while Boose added 17 points.
Hicks dropped to 6-16 overall and will not play again until the Evans Tournament, which is set Jan. 7-9.
