The Anacoco Indians garnered their 15th straight win on Tuesday with an easy road victory over the Hathaway Hornets, 56-31.
Anacoco (15-2) will have its winning streak put to the test at noon Saturday in Prather Coliseum on the campus of Northwestern State University as the Indians face Class B powerhouse Midland.
The Indians opened up a 15-6 lead after the first quarter and took a 27-16 edge into the halftime break.
Anacoco limited Hathaway to just 15 points in the second half as it cruised to the win.
Matt Moss had 28 points and 11 rebounds to pace Anacoco, while John Reese added 10 points. Point guard Chris Lenahan scored no points, but dished out 10 assists in the victory for the Indians.
Tyler Mitchell led Hathaway with nine points.

ROSEPINE — Rosepine jumped out to a 21-point lead at halftime and never looked back in picking up a 62-30 win over the East Beauregard Trojans in the District 4-2A opener for both teams.
Rosepine (12-6, 1-0) got a game-high 23 points from junior Julius Jackson, while Richard Palmer and Ethan Calcote were in double figures with 14 and 11 points, respectively.
East Beauregard (5-8, 0-1) got 15 points from Cody Johnson.
The Eagles play at Rosepine on Jan. 5.

HICKS — The Hornbeck Hornets improved to 15-11 on the season on Tuesday with a victory over the Hicks Pirates, 75-36.
Matthew Killian led Hornbeck with 19 points, while Cody Wilson and Matt Alford added 12 each. Justin Alford finished with 10 points. Mark Carman paced Hicks (7-17) with 13 points.

Evans (8-13), which will play at Converse on Saturday, was led by Zane Crocker's 19 points. Ryan Crittenden added 18 points in the loss.
