ALEXANDRIA–The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD), announced Wednesday that La. 467 in Leesville at the KCS depot will be closed. The closure, which began Wednesday morning, will continue until Friday Jan. 22, 2010 at 5 p.m.
The closure will allow Kansas City Southern Railroad to change out the track panel in the crossing and install new crossing surface for the roadway.
The roadway will be closed completely to all traffic during this time. There will not be a detour since state maintenance ends before intersecting with another state route.
In case of an emergency, the track will be opened for the proper officials.
