The President of the Johnson Consulting Group (JCG) honored Ascension Funeral Home by presenting them with the “JCG 2016 Excellence in Customer Service Award." The award is presented to funeral homes who achieved the highest total score from family satisfaction surveys during 2016. JCG surveyed roughly 120,000 families that experienced death across the USA in 2016.

This large amount of survey data has proven invaluable to providing insight into customer needs and satisfaction. The overall performance score measures in four different areas: 1) Initial Contact with the Funeral Home, 2) The Arranging Director, 3) Facilities and Vehicles, 4) Staff and Services Provided.

Ascension Funeral Home is honored to receive this award for their excellent performance in all four categories. Ascension Funeral Home has been serving the Gonzales and Ascension community for several years. Walter “Pete” Cole, Managing Funeral director, strives to continue the performance in customer service and maintain a professional and friendly staff.

Ascension has received this award for the second year in a row.
