Rosepine has been explosive on offense throughout the season, scoring more than 30 points in every game this year.

That, along with a standout defense, has led the Eagles to an undefeated start as they prepare for Oakdale this week.

The Warriors (2-5, 1-1) average 14.1 points a game this year but is averaging 25 points over the last three weeks, including picking up a 21-0 win East Beauregard two weeks ago.

Oakdale started the season 0-4 due to a tough schedule to kick off the year but two of its last three heading into Friday night.

Rosepine is led by senior quarterback Seth Ducote who has 942 rushing yards and 678 passing yards through seven games.

Running back Seth Shirley can have a big game any week with the most carries on the team and 876 rushing yards.

Wide receivers Josh Cummings and Garrett Mayfield make plays for Ducote once the defense starts to stack more and more guys in the box.

The Rosepine defense allows just 10 points a game, led by linebackers Matt Williams and Scott Wisby.

The Eagles and Warriors kick off at 7 p.m. Friday night at Oakdale Hgh School.
