Fugitive Wesley Ames Henry is being sought after by the Vernon Parish Sheriff’s Office (VPSO). Henry is wanted on multiple outstanding warrants.

Henry is a Lake Charles native with a criminal history of drug-related charges.

Authorities believe that Henry could be hiding in Beauregard, Vernon or Calcasieu parishes.

Anyone with information is asked to contact VPSO Detective David Vance at 337-238-728 or Crime Stoppers at 337-239-2233.

Those who call Crime Stoppers do not have to give their name. A special code number will be assigned to those who are calling.

It should be noted that harboring a fugitive is a crime and those caught by police can be charged as an accessory after the fact.

Louisiana Law states “Whoever becomes an accessory after the fact shall be fined not more than five hundred dollars, or imprisoned, with or without hard labor, for not more than five years, or both; provided that in no case shall his punishment be greater than one-half of the maximum provided by law for a principal offender.”
