On Saturday August 24, Leesville Main Street held a fundraiser called Change For Main. The event was made up of an awards banquet and a Picaddily auction. Awards were given out to local Main Street businesses. Pat Williams and Clearly Natural won the Don Goins award for most improved building.

The event took place at St. Michael’s Catholic Center.

There was plenty of fun to be had at Change for Main. The night was full of music and plenty of food catered by Deep South.

The proceeds collected throughout the night are being put towards assisting the revitalization process of the West Louisiana Museum as well as future projects the Friends of Main Street Organization takes on.

The event had a goal to raise $10,000 and while the total count isn’t in yet, it is being reported that the goal was not only met but surpassed.
