On behalf of the War Memorial Civic Center Board Members & Employees:

As we enter the week of the official Thanksgiving Holiday, we'd like to say thanks again to all who made The Moving Wall (TMW) DeRidder event a success. Although the War Memorial Civic Center Board was the host/title sponsor for this event, it would not have been possible without the assistance of many others.

Thank you to Mayor Misty Clanton and City of DeRidder Employees. The Administration, Fire Department and Public Works Department were all involved in helping assist with the manpower necessary for foundation preparation, setup and disassembly of TMW.

Thank you to Chief Craig Richard and the DeRidder Police Department and Sheriff Ricky Moses and the Beauregard Parish Sheriff's Department for providing the overnight security detail.

We had between forty and five volunteers from the community who assisted with the setup and disassembly of TMW.

Special thanks to the Vietnam Veterans of America Chapters 1138 and 1215 for their participation in the opening ceremony.
