Hunter Kasuls scored on the play and Robbins reached home on Kyle Clement's sacrifice fly. Dylan Moore picked up his 14th save of the season after striking out two in the ninth.

Kennon Fontenot was 2 for 3 with two RBIs, including a home run in the fifth and a game-tying single to center in the seventh, for Louisiana-Lafayette (42-19). Eric Carter (6-2) replaced freshman starter Nick Lee and gave up just one hit in three innings to earn the win.

Chad Powers (6-4), who entered with a 2.07 ERA, pitched 7 1/3 innings and gave up five earned runs for fourth-seeded Princeton.

Louisiana-Lafayette will face Arizona (39-20) on Saturday in the winners' bracket, while Princeton (24-20) will play Sam Houston State (41-21) in an elimination game.
