Foster named Sr. Vice President of Lending at Merchants & Farmers Bank
Ken Hughes, President/CEO of Merchants & Farmers Bank announces Christopher Foster has been named Sr. Vice President of Lending at the bank’s full-service location in Lake Charles, Louisiana.
Foster joins Merchants & Farmers with a background of 15 years serving local financial institutions in leadership roles including branch management, regional management and senior vice president.
“Chris’s proven track record as a lender and leader are essential to being successful in today’s banking environment,” said Hughes. “We look forward to Chris being on our team, and serving his customers banking and financial needs.”
Foster, a Lake Charles native, graduated from East Beauregard High School, in Dry Creek, Louisiana, class of 1999. Foster holds a Bachelor’s in Marketing with a double major in Management from McNeese State University and completed Graduate School of Banking at LSU. He currently resides in Dequincy, Louisiana with his wife of nine years, Rachelle and their six children—Jaxon (15), Malorye (13), Rylon (8), Noah (6), Isaac (3), Cecilia (1) and expecting a baby girl this November.
