DeRidder Trade Days indoor flea market will be at the Beauregard Fair Grounds Old Main Building August 6-8 from 8-6p.m.

The indoor flea market is the first weekend of every month at the old main building featuring local vendors in a family friendly enviornment.

New and used items are sold by local vendors, and the event is out on by Sherry Burgess who took over the event almost 7 years ago.

"When trade days was shut down I knew that I wanted to make a little extra money and give local vendors a place to sell their stuff, we are like a family now." said Burgess.

Burgess sells her homemade tamales at trade days and also in Pickering on weekends.

Trade Days offers visitors the chance to purchase crafts, photo studios, a bakery, handmade dolls, pot holders, quilts, knives, homemade hoodies, Mary Kay, Papparazi, tupperware and many more items from local vendors.

"We are encouraging visitors to wear a mask. Vendors will be wearing a mask when they are interacting with a customer." said Burgess.

The event is free to the public.

To be a vendor at DeRidder Trade Days the cost is $40 to rent a 10x10 booth, and vendors can contact Sherry to set up their spot at 337-884-1073.

Vendors accept cash and most accept cards.

"Come out and support our trade days family" said Burgess.
