Allie Calcote qualifies for National JH Finals Rodeo, finishes 15th in world standings

At the end of the 20-21 school year, Allie Calcote, a 12 year old, 6th grader from East Beauregard Junior High School placed 3rd in the State for Girls Goating Tying at the Louisiana Junior High School State Finals Rodeo in May.

That earned her a spot on the  Louisiana JH Rodeo National's Team. 

Allie was the only junior high student in Beauregard Parish to qualify for the National Junior High Finals Rodeo. (NJHFR)    

Allie competed at the NJHFR in Des Moines, IA this past June. 

She competed in girls JH goat tying alongside 153 other JH cowgirls from across the world. 

After two rounds of competition, Allie made it back in the Top 20 for the Short Go. 

Allie placed 13th in the Short Go and finished her 6th grade rookie year at # 15 in the world standings.
