SIMPSON - The Rosepine Lady Eagles just continue to dominate.

Sparked by a runner-up finish from Sophia Jeffers, the Lady Eagles scored 39 points as they won the girls' team championship at the annual Simpson Stampede on Wednesday.

Rosepine scored 39 points to capture the championship, while Leesville and Converse came in second and third with 58 and 80 points, respectively.

Leesville's Lina Mills-Zacapa returned to the winner's circle for the Lady Cats as she defeated Jeffers for top girls' individual honors. Converse runner Abigail Bozeman came in third.

On the boys' side, the Pineville Rebels earned first place with a score of 49 points, beating the Leesville Wampus Cats, which scored 74 points to claim second place. The Converse Wildcats were third with 80 points.

Leesville's Kyle Lynn grabbed top honors on the individual side of things for the Cats, while Rosepine's Sullivan Hanna was runner-up. Pineville's Justin Desitan took third place.
