MANY - The top-ranked and defending Class 2A state champion Many Tigers were simply unstoppable Friday night.

London Williams scored four touchdowns and Jeremiah James added two more as the Tigers (5-1, 2-0) romped past the Winnfield Tigers, 50-0.

Many is averaging over 50 points per game since dropping its season opener to Union Parish. Many's win over Winnfield (3-3) marks the second shutout of the season for the Tigers.

James scored the first two touchdowns of the contest for Many. His first TD was a 5-yard run, while his second score was on a 17-yard gallop after a Winnfield fumble.

By the end of the first quarter, Many was up, 20-0, as Williams scored his first TD on a 32-yard scamper.

Williams added TDs of 23 and 2 yards in the second as Many owned a 36-0 advantage at the break.

Many closed out the scoring with a pair of TDs in the third. Trent Williams scored on a 4-yard run, while London Williams added a 53-yard TD run to his total.

After six games, Williams has well over 1,000 yards rushing and 22 touchdowns.
