Update: LSU starting lineman Austin Deculus leaves with injury vs. UCLA Bruins football
Update: Austin Deculus returned to the game midway through the second quarter.
LSU starting offensive lineman Austin Deculus left the game with an apparent shoulder injury during the second quarter against UCLA on Saturday, Sept. 4.
Deculus came out of the game with 13:25 left in the second quarter after blocking on a rushing play that got LSU to the 2-yard line.
The game was scoreless at the point Deculus left the game. LSU scored two plays after his injury to take a 7-0 lead.
Charles Turner entered the game for Deculus.
UCLA beat LSU 38-27.
This was the first matchup between these two football programs.
