Apple Pizza

1 pizza shell (thin) 4 tart apples, such as Granny Smith, cored and sliced into wedges (peeling optional) 1 teaspoon lemon juice 3 tablespoons brown sugar 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg 1/4 cup apricot jam (optional glaze)

Set the pizza shell on a baking tray. Cover it with apple slices in a spiral pattern, dribble on lemon juice. Mix sugar, nutmeg and cinnamon. Sprinkle on top of apples. Bake for 15 minutes at 400 degrees. Let stand for 5 minutes before slicing. Heat the apricot jam for 15 minutes and pour on apples after baking. Otherwise, excellent with whipped cream.
